75 years ago. September 29th, 1941. On the eve of Yom Kippur, the Nazi army is approaching Kiev. Jews are frightened, not only because of the holy day, but also from the terrifying reality on their doorsteps.
On September 28th, the announcements are hung all over Kiev. The Jews must take all of their clothes, valuables and documents and gather by the cemetery. The announcement also contained a threat of death for anyone who disobeyed.
